Ross Reels -The Flywater Series
The first series available through Ross Worldwide is the Fly Water. The Fly Water series is based on the successful design of the Ross Cimarron and Gunnison reels. It utilizes a full disc drag system and two stainless plungers for disc drag engagement. The series is cast aluminum and powder coated for protection against the elements. The frame and the spool are fully ventilated, resulting in a series that weighs considerably less than other competitive products.

With new regulations, outlawing lead, this is truly the line of the future. It has an 8-foot extremely fast sinking tip to drop your fly and leader quickly. This 80-foot line was not designed for distance casting, but to make casts of 70 feet or less. It is ideal for trout, steelhead and salmon on streams and rivers when it is necessary to get deep very quickly. The floating section has a very special taper to help turn over the line and has been beefed up to help turn over the 8-foot sink tip with a more balanced cast.
